Memory wire is a coil of springy stainless steel which comes with coil sizes to suit necks and wrists. Decorated with beads and cut to various lengths, it can provide an endless array of designs.

We have put together the first of our Memory Wire range. Some of the items are similar to those seen on the catwalks and fashion shoots from where this jewellery rocketed up fashion’s most-wanted list – with price tags to match.

We have also used the material in a slightly different way: using shorter lengths linked together, making for a more softly hugging fit around the neck. (Unless one has a fairly slender neck, a single strand wound several times can give the impression of wearing a boa constrictor!) These designs are soft enough to flex with your head movements, and just springy enough to hug the contours of your neck without a clasp.
