Who are we?

We are a small family company dedicated to creating pretty things and offering a unique service to clients. We have previously traded as The Jewellery Workshop, but changed our name to one that better reflected what we do: we make special bead jewellery – and we’ll make to your design if you wish.

We are happy to make individual pieces for special occasions using your ideas or designing something specially for you using high quality beads from around the world – the best quality imitation pearls available from Japan, or gemstones and fresh-water pearls – and 14-carat gold overlay, sterling silver, or 9-carat gold, on request.

If you care to supply a swatch of fabric, we’ll match it – and if all else fails we can make our own beads – altogether offering a completely unique adornment for your delight.

We are great at keeping secrets, so wedding parties may consider our unique family party service, invaluable for co-ordinating decorative pieces for the bride, bridesmaids, and the mothers – tiny, for the littlest people – simple or stunning for the discerning bride – and colour co-ordinating for the mums, in their chosen individual style.

By purchasing direct from Custom Bead Jewellery, prices are kept to a minimum, with only postage and packing – and the odd phone call, fax or e-mail you may wish to send – in addition to the cost price of your piece.
